Java Jazz Festival 2013

Java Jazz Festival was established in 2005, Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival has not only become one of Indonesia's finest jazz festivals, but also one of the most prestigious and largest in the world. The annual jazz festival is held every early March and was designed to be one of the largest jazz festivals. And for this year will be held on 1-3 March. So let’s crowded it up!

How To Purchase E-Tickets
  1. Please fill in the ticket order form completely. Note: Make sure your email address is valid.
    (Fill in the column for email address right at the beginning, no space before and after the address to avoid invalidity of email address).
  2. Choose a payment method:
    1. Bank Transfer
    2. Credit Card
      (Visa and Mastercard ONLY, issued by Indonesian banks and selective countries such as Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hongkong)
  3. If 'Bank Transfer' payment is chosen, please follow these steps:
    1. Your order is valid for 2 working days, meaning that you have to make a bank transfer within 2 days after the date of your order. (If this particular due date is a holiday, you can do the transfer on the next working day). Please make a payment either by ATM (Put BNI code 009 for "ATM Bersama” before the 16 digits of the BNI virtual acct number as shown on the order confirmation), or remittance or wire transfer to:
      Bank: BNI (Bank Negara Indonesia)
      Branch: KCP Pasar Mayestik, Jakarta.
      BNI Virtual Account #: 16 digits number
      Beneficiary: JAVAJAZZ (PT Java Festival Production).
    2. Please note that the slip of transfer must clearly state your NAME and Order Reference Number.
      (Note: If it is not possible to put remarks when you do the transfer, just simply write down the remark (Name and Order Reference) on the fax sheet of the transfer receipt you sent us.)
    3. Bank Transfer Payment must be made in full and It must be net of all bank payment charges. No partial payment is allowed. Otherwise the E-Ticket will not be issued.
    4. Failure to make payment within the required period of time will automatically void (cancel) your order. Please order a new one if you wish to continue purchasing the ticket.
    5. Please Fax your payment slip/receipt to +62-21 7398801 or email to ticketing@javaticketonline.com quoting your Name and Order Reference Number (on the fax sheet or the attachment of your email).
  4. If 'Credit Card' payment is chosen, please follow these steps:
    1. Please enter 16 digits of your credit card number (Visa and Mastercard ONLY, issued by Indonesian banks and selective countries such as Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hongkong)
    2. On the next window you have to fill in card holder’s data completely (Make sure the information given are accurate and reliablecorrect), then continue to click “Process Payment” button.
    3. After payment processing, the next window will identify if your payment is approved or declined.
      • If approved please click “Print” button for your copy of payment approval. Then you must click “Continue to complete the process” button in order to have the E-ticket sent to your email address.
      • If declined please click “Continue to complete the process” to end the process, and go back to page for new order if you wish to re-order.
    4. When Credit Card payment is effective, E-Ticket will be sent to your email address.
  5. If you do not receive your E-Ticket up to 3 working days (not including holidays and weekends) after you fax/email us the transfer receipt, please call our hotline for further information..
    • For Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, or similar free email account members, please check your Spam/Bulk/Junk folder, in case your E-Ticket is stored in that particular folder.
  6. The E-Ticket cannot be exchanged and are NOT REFUNDABLE by any reason.
  7. The E-Ticket emailed to you is your TICKET to enter the venue. No exchange is necessary.

Denver's City Park full month Free Jazz Concert

Free Jazz Concert at Denver's City Park from June 5 - August 7, 2011. Just feel free to come and crowd the park Every Sunday at 6 p.m., the park comes alive with picnickers and jazz aficionados alike gathered around the bandstand near Ferril Lake. Some concerts are also held on the lawn near the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

You have to bring low-backed lawn chairs or blankets to sit on because seating is not provided. If you do not have time to pack a picnic, a limited number of food and drink vendors set up shop near the concerts. Parking is free in City Park, but arrive early to find a space near the concert venues.

    Duke Heitger and Butch Thompson’s New Orleans Wanderers Jazz Concert

    A jazz concert open on season with the crowd–pleasing sounds of Duke Heitger and Butch Thompson’s New Orleans Wanderers. The foundation of the Wanderers is Duke’s hot and sweet trumpeting, combined with Butch’s super–human piano technique. Throw in the delightful singer Topsy Chapman along with other top–flight musicians as spice, and you have an award–winning gumbo for sure. Duke, Butch and Topsy are all veterans of many National Public Radio appearances.

    Duke Heitger is Louis Armstrong–inspired trumpet, brash leads makes music that swings happily, compulsively, and convincingly. And Butch Thompson an almost superhuman technique on piano, He takes no back seat to anyone. Come to see at June 19th, book up your ticket now at Filoli.org

    Jazz Concert by Belle du Berry & David Lewis (France)

    Jazz Concert by & (France) Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 20:30 pm in Theatre Lounge. Belle du Berry is a France singer and songwriter has perform with the multi-instrument musician David Lewis in Indonesia.
    Belle du Berry's first experience in music was when she met with post-punk band in the late 1980s.
    In 1994, she founded the La Belle Equipe for performing his work and to gypsy music, and began performing in the cafes in Paris.
    Belle du Berry also appeared at the Cabaret Sauvage, a cabaret or circus musical.
    In the Cabaret Sauvage, Belle du Berry met, wrote songs and collaborated with musicians from Australia, David Lewis.
    Originally they were joined in Paris Combo with eclectic style that combines American jazz & swing, Roman music, North African music and Chason Paris.
    In times of break from the Paris Combo, they both released the song four hands 'Quizz' in 2009 followed by a tour of European countries and to Australia by Denis Henault-Parizal (bass and guitar) and Remy Kaprielan (drums).
    This concert is part of the Printemps Francais held by the French Cultural Center.

    Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, a full month Jazz in June concert every Tuesday evening

    Jazz in June Concert - Celebrating the 20th season, the Jazz in June concert series presents a full month jazz concert every Tuesday evenings of great jazz musicians at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.

    The warm June weather offers the perfect backdrop to tour sites in the UNL Botanical Gardens and Arboretum. UNL's Landscape Services and Facilities Management and Planning departments run the annual tours beginning at 6 p.m. at Sheldon's east entrance.

    The event organized by the Sheldon Museum of Art and supported by many other sponsors.  this year's free jazz series kicks off June 7 with the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra with guest Greg Abate. The concerts begin at 7 p.m. and will draw thousands of revelers to sit under the trees on the plaza west of the Sheldon 12th and R streets.

    Jazz in June concerts are free of charge to concertgoers, but they are not free from expense. This year, Jazz in June will rely on donations from audience members in order to make ends meet. Concertgoers are asked to make a donation of $10 per family, or whatever they can afford, to continue the series.

    June 7th, Nebraska Jazz Orchestra

    With special guest, Greg Abate.The Nebraska Jazz Orchestra was founded in 1975 and is one of the Midwest’s premier big bands, celebrating more than 25 years of great performances. The ensemble’s concerts feature a variety of traditional big band compositions by jazz masters such as Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie, reflecting the rich legacies of the Mississippi Basin territory bands. The ensemble also adds to this legacy by performing new compositions and arrangements regularly.

    June 14th, Gerald Dunn & The Jazz Disciples

    Gerald Dunn, the Entertainment Director for Kansas City’s American Jazz Museum located in the historic 18th & Vine district, has earned and maintained a spot as one of the city’s premiere saxophonists. He has toured and played with the world renowned Illinois Jacquet’s Big Band based in New York. Kansas City artists like Oleta Adams, Kevin Mahogany, Bobby Watson and Karrin Allyson are among those who have also given Gerald performance opportunities.

    June 21th, Susie Thorne

    Born in Hastings, Nebraska, the daughter of a classically trained vocalist mother and a professional trumpet player father (who was an occasional sideman for such greats as Lionel Hampton and Gerry Mulligan), Susie Thorne was raised with a great love of music. Thorne’s second CD, “Blue Skies, Clear Day,” features 11 songs with all arrangements by Susie Thorne and co-produced by Christine Hitt. “Blue Skies, Clear Day” was released nationally and internationally in 2006.

    June 28th, Joseph Vincelli

    Saxaphonist Joseph Vincelli, a New Jersey native, has toured and recorded with the likes of Buddy Miles, Ice Cube, Bobby Goldsboro, Jerry Vale, and Burt Reynolds. Vincelli now lives in Dallas, Texas, where he’s recorded ten albums over a seven year period and recently finished a fifteen year project, a three volume book series entitled, "My Friend, Music." He also teaches master classes to students interested in the industry of music.
